Development of Tourism & Culture, Govt. of Orissa has decided to develop STA at Puri under scheme will Assistance for large revenue generating projects, with financial assistance from Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India and Tourism Department, Govt. of Orissa. About ac.934.46 land has been acquired / alienated and further acquiring of Ac.649.64 of land is under process. Infrastructure works like construction of approach road, bridges and water supply and power supply is under progress at an estimated cost of Rs.1157.80 lakhs.

The Urban Haat scheme is operated under the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India. IDCO has taken up construction of Urban Haat at Konark with an estimated cost of Rs.267.00 lakhs. The work will be completed by January-2007.

This work has been also taken up at an estimated cost of Rs.240.00 lakhs. The work has just commenced and will be made functional by December-2007.

This work has been awarded to IDCO by Tourism Department, Govt. of Orissa at an estimated cost of Rs.200.00 lakhs. IDCO has taken steps to engage reputed Architect for the work.

It is decided by Tourism & Culture Department to construct Shreekhetra Sanskruti sangrahalaya at Puri and the work has been assigned to IDCO. The total project cost is Rs.300.00 lakhs. IDCO has taken necessary steps to engage reputed Architect for the said work.

Tourism & Culture Department has assigned IDCO to construct Food Court near Youth Hostel at Puri at an estimated cost of Rs.100.00 lakhs. Necessary steps has been taken to engage reputed Architect for the work.

Tourism & Culture (Culture) Department, Govt. of Orissa has entrusted IDCO construction of six storied Harekrushna Mahatab State Library at Bhubaneswar. IDCO has taken steps to engage reputed Architect for the work.

G.A.department, Govt. of Orissa has entrusted IDCO construction work of G.A.qtrs near Sainik School with an estimated cost of Rs.2838.00 lakhs. Construction of 442 qtrs completed and balance work of 200 qtrs. are in progress.

Tourism & Culture (Culture) Department, Govt. of Orissa has entrusted IDCO construction of Boys & Girls Hostel, staff qtrs. at Odissi Research Centre with an estimated cost of Rs.100.00 lakhs. Steps have been taken by IDCO to select suitable architect for the work.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, New Delhi has assigned IDCO the works construction of JNV at Konark & Gajapati at an estimated cost of Rs.1200.00 lakhs. The works are under progress and will be completed by March-2007.

A number of works has been assign to IDCO by the Temple Administration, Shree Jagannath Temple, Puri. These are (a) Construction of Yatri Niwas near Shri Gundicha Temple (b) Construction of 4 nos watch Tour near 4 gates of Shree Jagannath Temple. (c) Construction of 30 nos new light post. (d) Renovation & beautification Narendra Tank etc. IDCO has taken necessary steps to engaged reputed Architects for the works.

Department of  Tourism & Culture (Culture), Govt. of Orissa has decided to setup Kalamandal Project near Sainik School with Lalit Kalamandal, Heritage gate, Artesan village etc. and the work has been awarded to IDCO at an estimated cost of Rs.255.32 lakhs. Construction work is in progress.

Department of Tourism & Culture (Tourism), Govt. of Orissa has entrusted IDCO construction of Tourist Reception Center at Kendrapara at an estimated cost of Rs.0.74 crore. Finishing works are in progress. An amount of Rs. 0.37 Crore has been spent for project till date.

The setting up of the IID centers under the Centrally sponsored scheme is to facilitate the Industries in the rural / back ward areas under small and tiny sector units and promote stronger linkages between Agriculture and Industries. The project cost is Rs.718.40 lakhs and it is developed adjacent to NH-5 at Khurda over an area of Ac.150.00. Construction of 4-laning approach road, masonry drain, internal road, power supply and water supply have already been made. An amount of Rs.591.76 lakhs has already been spent for development of the same.

The setting up of the IID centers under the Centrally sponsored scheme is to facilitate the Industries in the rural / back ward areas under small and tiny sector units and promote stronger linkages between Agriculture and Industries. The total project cost is Rs.583.00 lakhs and it is developed at 3 km away from Rayagada town and Pravatipur road over Ac.102.84 of land. Construction of main approach road, internal road, masonry drain, power supply and water supply to door step have already complete with an expenditure of Rs.130.21 lakhs. Now in phase-II development of land at Amlabhata and Kuntalapeta are under procession near Rayagada (JK pur chhak).

The setting up of the IID centers under the Centrally sponsored scheme is to facilitate the Industries in the rural / back ward areas under small and tiny sector units and promote stronger linkages between Agriculture and Industries. The total project cost is Rs.614.78 lakhs and developed near Somanathpur Industrial Estate over an area of Ac.178.245. Development of main road, internal road, and concrete drain etc. have been started. Power supply and water supply works will be taken up shortly.

The setting up of the Food park under the centrally sponsored scheme in the state through area approach by way of better utilization of local Agricultural, Forest, & Marine produce and there by improving the rural economy. It is developed adjacent to NH-5 at Khurda with an estimated cost of Rs.990.73 lakhs over Ac.194.65 of land. Construction of main approach road, internal road, masonry drain, power supply and water supply works complete with an expenditure of Rs.466.88lakhs. Construction of administrative-Cum-Laboratory building in finishing stage and other works are in progress.

The objective of setting up of Growth Centers under centrally sponsored scheme is to facilitate the Industries in rural/back ward areas under small and medium sectors. The project cost is Rs.3989.46 lakhs and in Phase-I. Ac.367.84 land has already been developed and in Phase-II, Ac.206.25 of land under development with main road, internal road, concrete drain, power supply, water supply etc. The road and drain works for the same are under progress. An amount of Rs.1042.73 lakhs has already been spent.

The objective of setting up of Growth Centers under centrally sponsored scheme is to facilitate the Industries in rural/back ward areas under small and medium sectors. The project cost is Rs.4126.73 lakhs and in Phase-I. Ac.100.00 land is under development.  In Phase-II, Ac.300.00 of land has been selected and under subjudice which will be finalized shortly. One water supply system has been purchased from MESCO and water supply to JSL and MISL are in force. Construction of main road, branch road, and concrete drain will be taken up shortly for which LOA has already been issued. Power supply and water supply will be made available to each plot. An amount of Rs.2839.22 lakhs has already been spent for this project.

The objective of setting up of Growth Centers under centrally sponsored scheme is to facilitate the Industries in rural/back ward areas under small and medium sectors. The project cost is Rs.3306.75 lakhs and in Phase-I. Ac.116.72 of land has been selected at Kesinga and under subjudice. In site-II at Kesinga for Ac.10.00 land has been selected. In site-III at Bolangir over Ac.676.81 has been selected and development of main road, internal road have been completed. An amount of Rs.190.79 lakhs has already been spent for this project.

The objective of setting up of Growth Centers under centrally sponsored scheme is to facilitate the Industries in rural/back ward areas under small and medium sectors. The project cost is Rs.4231.40 lakhs and Ac.125.192 of land has been selected near the TATA Rehabilitation Colony at Sitaipali and Tangarapali. Preparation of layout plan and estimate are under progress.

To establish Bio-IT park in the state, it has been decided to develop at Andharua and Dears firm on Public Private Partnership (PPT) model. In first phase it will be setup at Andharua over a land of Ac.63.299 for which construction of compound wall has been completed. An amount of Rs.200.00 lakhs has been received from Science & Technology department, out of which Rs.49.18 lakhs has already been spent.

In Kalinganagar following works are under progress on deposit basis through JCDL

The objective of setting up of the Industrial complex at Kalinganagar to facilitate the Mega Industries. A good number of Mega Industries are coming up to establish their Industries at Kalinganagar. IDCO has provide common Infrastructure facilities, Rehabilitation to the displaced families at Trijanga and Gobarghati etc. An amount of Rs.1846.96 lakhs has been sanctioned for many developments works out of which some work have been completed and others are in progress.

Construction of Indoor Hall, Type-II at Angul:- This work is entrusted to IDCO by the Orissa Table tennis Association, Angul on deposit basis. The estimate is prepared as per the guide lines of the sports Authority at India and administratively approved by the Collector and Chairman at Table Tennis Academy(TTA), Angul for an amount of Rs, 1,12,63,600.00. So far TTA, Angul has deposited an amount of Rs,25.00 lakhs with IDCO, and till Nov.2006. work / expenditure to the tune of Rs,44,63 lakhs has been made.

(A) Construction of class Room:- IDCO has been constructed with the construction of 4 nos of gallery type Class Room at an approved estimated cost of Rs, 116.42 lakhs. The Ist floor slabs (roof slabs) of the class rooms have been constructed. The dome portion is completed up to Ist floor level and other finishing works are in progress. Till Jan-2006 an amount of Rs, 43.60 lakhs have been spent (including Super vision Charges) (B) 180 Seated Girl's Hostel Building:- 147, 145, 139 This work includes construction of 2 nos of additional floors (F.F and S.F) over the existing Ground Floor building and construction of Dining / Kitchen block (G.F and S.F) at an approved estimated cost of Rs,160.24 lakhs. The Government of Orissa had approved the tender vide Letter No-2185/dt.8.02.2006 and fund from IGIT, Sarang amounting to Rs,145.00 lakhs has been received. The work has been completed in Dt.31.01.07 before the schedule date of completion i.e 16.02.07 and handed over to the College on Dt.8.02.07.

This is a part of the main project constructed all over Orissa under Sector Reform Cell, Bhubaneswar with European Commission grant. These Ware Houses are meant for storing medicine at the District Head Quarter hospital and for this particular work an amount of Rs, 29.48 lakhs is administratively approved. The work has been completed and handed over since 07.03.2006.
